Jefferson Water & Sewer District Implements Mandatory Outdoor Watering Restrictions
The Jefferson Water & Sewer District (JWSD) Board of Trustees passed Resolution 2026-16 on April 16, 2026, implementing a mandatory alternating outdoor watering regulation for all residential users. The regulation is effective immediately, but the District’s Summer Watering Period is effective between May 15th – October 15th of each year. Effective May 15, 2026, the summer outdoor watering regulation will be in effect.

Jefferson Water & Sewer District Receives $2.95 Million State Grant for Critical Water Infrastructure Upgrades
(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — The Jefferson Water & Sewer District is one of 90 projects receiving state grants to address critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Ohio communities. In total, 64 counties will receive $135 million.
